Reed Exhibitions Partners with Sunaidi Expo for Saudi Expansion
Reed Exhibitions is making its first move into Saudi Arabia through a partnership with Sunaidi Expo.
 |
While it's the first time Reed will conduct business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the partnership extends Reed's reach into the middle east, with operations already in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Sunaidi Expo is a subsidiary of the Alfadl Group, and the partnership is expected to yield a series of events starting in 2012 in Jeddah, considered to be the trade center of KSA.
|
Frederic Theux, president of Reed Exhibitions Middle East, said the region will continue to grow thanks to ongoing development by the Saudi government. "We have chosen Jeddah to be Reed's entry point to the Saudi market because it is a very ancient city with vast history. It is known to be the bride of the Red Sea and the KSA's marine gateway to the outer world. Jeddah, in particular, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in general, constitute one of the most important trade, economic and investment hubs in the region," he said in a prepared statement.
Mohammed Alfadl, president of Alfadl Group, said, "This partnership will secure us a strong position in the exhibitions market in the Kingdom. We will certainly benefit from Reed's global reputation and vast expertise in this arena."
