Attended by the stars of hospitality and design, this week saw the winners of the third annual Restaurant & Bar Design Awards announced at the East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf, London. With over 330 entries from the UK and 50 other countries, the evening’s ceremony and party was a big success

 
Judged by some of the most influential design, architectural and hospitality personalities in the world including Femke de Wild, Editor of Frame magazine; Karim Rashid, Designer; Ian Callum, Design Director Jaguar Cars and Sarah Miller, Editor of Condé Nast Traveller, both designers and hospitality operators were recognised for design excellence across a wide variety of categories.

Overall winners of the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2011 were ‘Busaba Eathai’ restaurant by David Archer Architects and ‘Smack’ bar/club by Steve Smith.
