Strategic objectives achieved:
- With this investment, the Group will surpass a production capacity of 200,000m3 per year, essential to fulfil the Business Plan with sales figures over 200,000m3 in year 2012.

-
This plant appears as a result of the need to meet the needs of the market, and at the same time, allows GARNICA to renew and revitalize the Group’s first factory which is located within the urban area of Baños de Río Tobía. This location didn’t allow any further expansion, and the production processes were becoming old. For this reason, the new plant has been built on the outskirts of the village, thus also allowing future developments.
-
Likewise, this new facility reflects the Group’s strategy to increase and enhance our current product range, incorporating jumbo size plywood, at the same time promoting the use of Poplar wood in this format, which has traditionally been made with okoumé or birch.
-
This way, we succeed another key objective of the Company, which is to provide an optimum service to our customers, offering the widest product range in the market.
