The fair will bring the full scope of the built environment to the Valencia exhibition centre. Furniture, home textiles, accessories, decorative items, lighting, art and kitchen design will comprise the most attractive showcase ever. A showcase that hopes to create an impact, surprise, inform and, in so doing, facilitate the ultimate objective: to do business.
The fair has taken on board the principles of the 2009-2013 Strategic Plan launched by the organisers to boost its character as a driver of trends and innovation. The fair wants to be far more than just the consequence of an industry. It wants instead to be the driver of this industry, the generator of “ideas and passion”, and a springboard for a pioneering manufacturing sector that will gain in competitiveness and prestige. |

One of the main attractions will be the staging of different “lifestyle spaces”, which are fundamental to the essence of the new project. This is a new style of exhibit that highlights three essential segments of the built environment industry: homes, outdoors and contract. These three lifestyle spaces will introduce visitors to the commercial part of the exhibition whilst reflecting the results of an extensive market research project carried out by the Observatory for Trends in the Built Environment.
Located in the central lobby area at Feria Valencia, these spaces will feature original products from leading Spanish companies that will be exhibiting at the fair. The products will be selected by a team of expert designers and interior designers. |
Celebrated architect Héctor Ruiz has designed the outdoor space, whilst CuldeSac has been commissioned to create the home and contract spaces.
Spain’s most prestigious manufacturers will be displaying their products at the fair, which will occupy levels 2 and 3 of pavilions 1, 2, 3 and 4 and level 2 in pavilion 6, whilst leading designers, architects and interior designers will be enriching an extensive programme of parallel events. One core component of this programme is Nude, New International Design, which will feature new designers from all over the world, publicising their designs and providing them with an opportunity to make contact with manufacturers.

What is more, Diseño Internacional de Cocina (International Kitchen Design) is joining this year’s showcase with some of the industry’s top international brands, including Porcelanosa and Silestone. Last but not least, FIART will be showing the very latest in modern and contemporary art.
Ideas&Pasión Feria Habitat Valencia is being supported by the main trade associations. The investment it is making is also the Spanish built environment industry’s investment for the future. What the fair wants to do, using the slogan “We’ll see you in Valencia”, is strengthen the potential it has shown in previous years and become the best platform for trends and trade in the built environment industry – the global epicentre for “made in Spain”.
