The Murcia Chamber of Commerce held the night of Murcia Economy,  in the course of which were given the  Mercury Awards and the Business Development Award for the year 2010. The event was attended by the President of the Community of Murcia, Ramón Luis Valcárcel, as well as numerous representatives of business, political and social life in the region. 

As explained by the Chamber president,, Pedro García-Balibrea "With these awards, we pay a tribute and is publicly acknowledged our grants to the Industry in Murcia, for their contribution to economic and social development of the Region, a task not always valued and that is essential for overcoming the difficult situation. " 

Juan Navarro Azorin, founder of  company Navarro Azorin Company Ltd. from Yecla, received the Mercury Award Industry 2010, an award given by the Chamber of Commerce in recognition of the trajectory of the companies that have made an outstanding contribution to economic progress the Region of Murcia.

In this regard, President Valcárcel claimed the "vital role" of the industry in Murcia on job creation as well as its contribution to issues such as the growing internationalization of the Region of Murcia.
