With its 27th edition SUN, the International Exhibition of Outdoor Products, will confirm its leadership as a unique and inimitable display of the reference sector: outdoor in its entirety.
Innovation, genius, and creativity will be the common thread of the Show. The 12 halls (90,000 sq. m.) hosting to the exhibits will be pervaded with a wide variety of atmospheres, emotions, shows, debates, and ambiances, organized according to unusual and high-impact routes, along with corners, workshops, and international competitions: SUN as an agora, a location, a stage, SUN as a large circle including and filtering, transforming, incubating, reprocessing, reintroducing, restyling everything.
SUN 2009 boasts a high number of players, co-operations, and events that will lead the public through a unique parterre made up of the most outstanding worldwide producers, archistars, universities, and young talents, engaged in creating signature products for “prodotti d’Outore”, ideas for “idee d’aMARE”, Out&About Contract projects, Light inventions, Living solutions, Urban Design thoughts.

In order to promote actual international business opportunities and foreign sales for its exhibitors, SUN has created SUN GLOBAL BUSINESS, a unique service dedicated to them.
In 2008 SUN organized 150 business meetings between the exhibitors (in their own stands) and selected foreign buyers, invited at the fair’s charge from Greece, Spain, Germany, and Morocco.

On the wake of the success of this initiative, in 2009 SUN GLOBAL BUSINESS will expand its reach, means, and channels in view of procuring and organizing 700 business meetings between the exhibitors and buyers from the US, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Russia, and the Balkans, directly inside the stands.
Foreign exhibitors find at SUN the Italian distribution and buyers’ world, made up of hundreds of representatives operating for a widespread distribution network, including thousands of independent points of sale, hundreds of individual stores, dozens of specialized distribution groups. SUN, the International Exhibition of Outdoor Products, now at its 27th edition, is the only B2B exhibiting show dedicated to outdoor design and furnishing in all respects.
The 2009 edition (October 8-10) will enjoy a combination with GIOSUN, the 24th International Exhibition of Toys and Outdoor Games, and with T&T-Tende & Tecnica, the 5th International Biennial exhibition of products and solutions for protection, shading, energy saving, security, and furnishing, both for operators only. Such combination will give place to a stage and a business area that will cover the whole fairground with its 16 halls, on a 120,000 sq. m. surface, in favour of 35,000 professional visitors and a total of approximately 1,000 exhibiting companies.
