1. - Could you briefly describe your company's activities?
Actiu is a company that specialises in the manufacture of furniture for working environments, based on an established presence in more than 50 countries. We create, design, produce and market equipment required in order to make offices and public areas more effective and comfortable, including products such as tables, chairs, filing cabinets, panels and all kinds of accessories. These products have arisen from our research into business needs and the ways in which individuals and companies interact.

2. - What projects are you currently carrying out or do you aim to carry out in the near future?
We provide consulting services and design and manufacture equipment that is required by companies, universities, airports, hospitals, auditoriums ..., etc. We create specific furnishings for each sector.

3. - How would you describe your company's export capacity?
Out of the company's overall turnover, the foreign sales generated by Actiu account for some 35% of the total figure. The rest of the company's turnover corresponds to the domestic market.

4. - Your company will be taking part at OFITEC 2011. What benefits can companies gain from their participation at a fair of this kind?
The advantages of taking part at OFITEC are numerous. First, we are able to secure a greater degree of visibility on the national and international markets, especially bearing in mind that the fair attracts a large number of foreign buyers. We might also highlight the opportunities that the fair provides when it comes to presenting new developments and the general products and services offered by each manufacturer. Another aspect to be taken into account consists of the fair's role as a forum for promoting the exchange of interests, opinions, concerns, etc., among manufacturers on the office furniture market, thus enabling them to strengthen their positioning and boost their business activities. The fair also targets various different groups of considerable importance to the industry, such as architects, designers, interior designers, engineers, facility managers, large accounts ..., etc. Finally, OFITEC provides an ideal opportunity to re-launch the industry, conveying a sense of commitment and fostering a strong and solid image vis-à-vis other sectors and markets.

5. - What are the most interesting new developments that your company will be presenting at the next edition of the International Trade Exhibition of Office and Contract Furniture and Equipment, OFITEC?

We shall be presenting our most important new developments under the headings of product, design and philosophy: new and specific items designed for segments as diverse as airports, libraries, universities, etc., not to mention new seating products and items for public areas. Furthermore, I would like to point out that all of our products are made through a sustainable and eco-friendly manufacturing process.
