Banak Importa achieves its plan to expand extensively in Italy by launching 40 new points of sales in the recent months. The Spanish furniture and home decoration accessory company continues its international expansion by financing extensively in the Italian market, where it is expected to launch another 10 new showrooms in 2009.
In Q4 2008, Banak Importa’s turnover in Italy alone is 1.5 € millions. The whole of 2008 sees Banak Importa’s turnover exceeding 6 € millions, which amounts to a 15% increase according to sales figures achieved from the previous year. |
Although Italy is often considered as the critical competitor for many Spanish furniture manufacturers, it also offers considerable business opportunities as proven by great acceptance of Banak Importa products by the Italian consumers, thus the ability to result in the increase in sales for this specific market in 2008.
