Luzifer has been awarded the prestigious Design Plus award for
its lamp "the Mikado" designed by Miguel Herranz. This award,
given by the the German Design Council in collaboration with
the Messe Frankfurt, rewards the most innovative and outstanding
design which will be presented in the next edition of Light and
Building (23rd to 27th April 2006).
The jury responsible for selecting the awarded products are all
important figures with in the industrial design and architectural
fields, as well as specialized press and companies related to lighting.
The criteria used for the selection is based on
design quality
materials selected
usefulness
technical quality
ecological and global concepts
