Furniture, Gift, International Groups Bring Members & Buying Power to Market

World Market Center Las Vegas has partnered with some of the industry’s most powerful buying groups for the upcoming “Mega Market” week in Las Vegas, 2-6 August 2010. More than 25 home furnishings and gift buying groups representing hundreds of stores will be attending the Summer Las Vegas Market, Gift + Home and Vegas Kids, flexing their extensive buying power and looking for summer specials throughout the 5 million square foot home furnishings campus.

While some are participating for the first time in the history of the bi-annual trade show, many of these buying groups will be hosting meetings and special events tied in with market. World Market Center has committed to teaming up with these varied groups to help facilitate their business needs and ensure a positive experience at Las Vegas Market.

The Furniture Buying Groups that World Market Center Las Vegas is partnering with for the Summer Las Vegas Market includes: AMI/Furniture Leaders, APRO (Association of Progressive Rental Organizations), AVB/BrandSource, Furniture First, Furniture Marketing Group, Furniture Smart/Nationalwide, Furniture West, MEGA Group USA (also known as Best Brands Plus), Pacific Furniture Dealers (PFD), Strivers, TBG/The Buying Giant, TRIB Group (The Rental Industry Buying Group) and USA Baby.

A number of international groups will also have members in attendance, including Cantrex of Canada, The Defresne Group, Farabella Group, Winners Group and The Brick.

The Gift Buying Groups attending the Markets, many for the first time, include: ACE Hardware Corporation, Hospital Gift Shop Association, Ideation, National Association of College Stores, Purchasing Power Plus, and Zoo & Aquarium Buyers Group (ZAG).
