The new kitchen trade fair LivingKitchen, which will be celebrating its premiere parallel to the imm cologne in January 2011, is the talk of the town
The incredibly well-attended launch press conference during the imm cologne 2010, which attracted well over one hundred international editorial teams, was the beginning of a success story that is unfolding by the day. But it's not just the press who are impressed by the trade fair concept developed in collaboration with the industry, the retail sector and various associations. Companies from all over the world - with the recent addition of the Teka Group - are pinning their hopes on LivingKitchen: with cooking shows and live acts, the accompanying publicity and its focus on expanding export activities, the fair is set to become a crowd-puller in every sense of the word. So far more than 40 companies from Germany and abroad have decided to participate when LivingKitchen premieres in 2011. The exhibitors include not only kitchen furniture producers but the household appliance and sink sector, sophisticated kitchen worktop manufacturers and commercial enterprises as well.
A further 30 companies have expressed a concrete interest in taking part. As a result, even in its debut year, LivingKitchen 2011 will be the international kitchen event to be held in odd-numbered years.
A fact that the latest prominent addition to the trade fair's list of exhibitors is counting on as well: the Teka Group has announced its participation in LivingKitchen from 18 - 23 January 2011. The Spanish company, which has a German branch in Haiger, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of fitted appliances and sinks, with a workforce of almost 6,000 and annual sales of more than 1.1 billion euros. The group of companies, which includes retail brands like Teka and Küppersbusch, is relying on the new trade fair platform to present its latest innovations to the more than 100,000 visitors that are expected to attend from Germany and abroad.
At the same time, the presence of a global concern like the Teka Group symbolises the attractiveness of both the event concept and the city of Cologne as an internationally renowned fair venue and is certain to motivate other companies from around the world to take part.
