1 de Marzo de 2010
Still eight months to go before the start of the second edition of SICAM - International Exhibition for Components, Semifinished Products and Accessories for the Furniture Industry - to be held in Pordenone, on 20th-23rd October 2010 – and the data already proves that it will be a great event. Already 250 companies have confirmed their participation, and will occupy more than 75% of the nine pavilions of the Fiera di Pordenone site. The sector’s large-scale acknowledgement reaffirms its choice of Pordenone as its showcase not only because of the surrounding territory (the most important district for Italian furniture productions), but also because of its international outlook (in 2009, 24% of the visitors were foreigners coming from 79 different countries)
The list of exhibitors is always available online at the site http://www.exposicam.it/english/elencoespositori.asp Updated in real time, it highlights the assent of exhibitors who reaped success during the first edition, with the addition of those who have now registered, and will surely include the names of many other important Italian and international sub-suppliers. Scrolling down the list, it is more than evident that the entire offer for furniture and décor production will be present at SICAM 2010, including the leaders of all the relevant sectors and various product segments.
THE 2010 PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN
It is an appointment not to be missed. This is the core message of the intense promotional campaign which the organizers of the fair have undertaken. Participation in all the most important events of the supply chain is one of SICAM’s characteristics, given that it has always endeavored to achieve a response to a parterre of leading exhibitors in terms of a massive presence of operators and buyers from all over the world. Within the next few months, SICAM will also participate in the M&M in Bogotà (Columbia, 3rd-6th March), Indiawood (Bangalore, 4th-8th March), MTMK in Kiev (Ukraine, 10th-3th March), Technomebel in Sophia (Bulgaria, 23rd-27th March), Furnica in Poznan (Poland, 13th to16th April), and Medwood, Athens (Greece, 22nd-25th April).
2011: THE DATES FOR THE THIRD EDITION
The organizers have already announced Wednesday, 19th to Saturday, 22nd October as the dates for 2011. “We want to contribute to the success of our exhibitors – was the comment of the fair’s organizer, Carlo Gobbi – bringing ahead a very clear project. Some of them wish to exhibit their products in fairs addressing diverse sectors of the furniture industry. Starting from 2011, these faires will take place in October. We have retained it as our obligation to choose a location that would allow them to pursue their selected strategies, in a spirit of absolute cooperation”.
