Design star, Kasper Salto, at Republic of Fritz Hansen's™ showroom in Stockholm during the design week

Award winning Danish Designer Kasper Salto will be present at Republic of Fritz Hansen's™ showroom in Stockholm during the design week

Kasper Salto is recognized as being one of the most talented and influential furniture designers of our time who has won a string of internationally acclaimed design awards for his creations

Graduating as a cabinet maker in 1988 and then later from the Design School in Copenhagen, it was the Runner chair that Kasper designed for Peter Staerk in 1997 which led Salto to stardom.

It saw the rise of interesting collaborations with international design companies and sparked the beginning of a long and successful relationship with furniture design and manufacturer Fritz Hansen.

Kasper Salto is the star designer behind Fritz Hansen's Ice™ series and popular Little Friend™ table. He is also the mastermind behind the reinvention of the stacking chair that will be launched later this year at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan.

To experience the design star in action, enthusiasts are welcome to drop by Republic of Fritz Hansen's showroom on Högbergsgatan 93 in Stockholm, where Kasper Salto and Fritz Hansen's design team will host an open experimental workshop on 9th February.

The results of the workshop will be exhibited together with the Ice series and Little Friend collection at Republic of Fritz Hansen's showroom during the design week in Stockholm.
