New Nervi chair of Dd designed by Joan Gaspar, Tribute to a great architect

With this design, Joan Gaspar wants to pay tribute to an innovative and renown architect from the 10th century, Pier Luigi Nervi (Italy, 1891-1979)

The light grid on the chair’s seat is inspired by projected beams of exposed cement, one of the innovative techniques introduced by Nervi that made a refined and expressive solution possible for complex structural problems.

The aesthetic elegance of his buildings resides in an impeccable structural correction which sustains the force of the shape. The nervi chair follows this legacy.

Chair and armchair for indoor and outdoor use. Wickerwork seat and back injected with polypropylene. Shiny or matt anodized aluminium structure. Stackable. UV protection.
