Deux Ailes is a workshop developed by Valérie Vigier and Laurent Beyne. The particularity of our creation is the extreme care we take in the whole procedure, from the initial poetic concept and the metamorphosis of raw material to the finished objects.
In our Montreuil-sous-Bois atelier, we carve and polish our silica glass manually. We prefer a hand-made look to an automated look, because technical gestures were the only distinctive features of any human work before man could speak. They are now the only continuous links relating us to the origin of mankind.
